HANDLING PRECAUTIONS
Do not mix with other chemicals or drain unblockers. This can cause a violent chemical reaction.
To open bottle, place upright on an even surface, push cap down and unscrew. Take precautions against spillage.
Pour slowly in single doses no larger than 250ml. Leave for 15 minutes and then flush with water.
Always keep the bottle upright and the cap screwed on tightly.
Use in a well ventilated area. Do not breath in fumes.
Do not use in septic tanks, toilets with macerator pumps or waste disposals. Do not use on shallow bath and
shower traps as overflow of product may cause staining to fittings. Do not use on lead piping.
Avoid contact with chrome, acrylic, stainless steel, vitreous enamel, gold or aluminium as this may cause
irreversible discolouration or etching.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
If pipe work is old or has potential stress fractures, it is not recommended to use. Do not use on lead piping.
Before treatment remove as much water as possible from the blocked area but ensure some water remains in the
U-bend.
Pour slowly in single doses no larger than 250ml. Leave for 15 minutes and then flush with water. Repeat if
necessary. For partly blocked drains and toilets, pour as directed above directly into affected area.
For badly blocked drains and toilets, introduce the product as close to the blockage as possible.
Drain Unblocker is heavier than water and will sink to find blockages. Avoid excessive dosing and uncontrolled
pouring as this can result in a fast heat build-up that could damage fittings.
