Formulated as a solvent-based enamel paint, it resists knocks and everyday wear both indoors and outdoors, giving garden tools, plaques, models and other small painted items a long-lasting, glossy finish. Suitable for garden tools, plaques, models, brackets and other small projects that need a hard-wearing top coat, this paint brushes on smoothly and self-levels to minimise brush marks. Ideal for touching up scuffed gloss-finished items or refreshing small metal and timber fittings around the home, each coat covers approximately 14 square metres per litre and reaches touch-dry in around 4 to 6 hours, with a full 16-hour cure before recoating or handling.
Because it is built for small jobs rather than whole rooms, this finish suits garden furniture, metal railings, tool handles, models, picture frames and craft projects where a smooth, glass-like sheen matters more than sheer coverage. Timber should be sanded smooth and free of loose material before painting, and bare metal is best treated with a suitable primer first, which helps the finish grip properly and resist chipping, weathering and everyday knocks for longer. A light second coat once the first has hardened gives the deepest, most even gloss.
