Crown Quick Dry Satin is a water-based, mid-sheen trim paint for interior and exterior wood, metal and PVCu, designed for fast same-day decorating without the long drying times of solvent-based satins. Made with Crown’s breatheasy® technology and Vegan Verified ingredients, the 99% solvent free formulation helps limit exposure to airborne triggers of asthma and allergy while you decorate.

Crown Quick Dry Satin is touch dry in around one hour and recoatable in about six hours, so most doors, skirtings, architraves and window frames can be undercoated and finished in a single day. It delivers a non-yellowing, tough and durable mid-sheen finish that is easy to wipe clean once cured, making it well suited to busy hallways, kitchens and family living spaces. Use Crown Quick Dry Satin together with Crown’s Quick Dry Multisurface Primer & Undercoat for a fully water-based system on bare wood, metal or PVCu, or apply directly over sound, previously painted satin or eggshell finishes. Apply with a synthetic bristle brush or short-pile roller and clean tools with cold, clean water immediately after use. Work in manageable sections, laying off lightly in one direction to even the finish. Typical VOC content is very low (around 2 g/l) and the paint is supplied in a recyclable metal pack, supporting healthier indoor air and reducing waste at end of life.
