Coccidiosis is one of the most common parasitic challenges facing loft keepers, and an outbreak can quickly knock the condition out of a team of birds. Harkers Coxoid Oral Solution is a trusted pigeon coccidiosis treatment that has been relied on by fanciers for decades. Supplied as a 500ml water-soluble liquid, it is simply added to the drinking water for seven days, with a favourable reaction often seen within two days of starting the course.

This solution is well suited to racing lofts, stud birds and show teams, whether you are tackling an active outbreak or treating routinely before breeding. As a preventative pigeon coccidiosis treatment it can be given for five days instead of seven, making it a useful part of the pre-breeding routine. During the course, birds must not have access to unmedicated water, and any medicated water not consumed within 24 hours should be discarded. Once opened, the product has a six-month shelf life, so note the date on the bottle.
Coxoid is for animal treatment only and must be kept out of reach of children. Do not use in birds intended for human consumption, including their eggs, and do not mix with other products having a similar effect. If signs of disease persist, consult your veterinary surgeon.
