This threaded bar is ideal for general fixing, hanging and bracing jobs where a standard bolt is too short, from suspending pipework and cable tray to building a simple frame or support. If you are working on a job that needs a custom length, cut the bar down with a hacksaw or angle grinder and deburr the cut end before fitting a nut. Choose your diameter from the options above to match the nuts, washers and fittings you are using.
Threaded bar like this is a standard fixing used across construction, plumbing and general DIY work, and the zinc-plated finish gives useful protection against rust in a shed, garage or outbuilding. Keep a length in the toolbox for whenever a job calls for a longer bolt than what is already in stock.
Please refer to the product packaging for complete specifications before use. For advice on choosing the right diameter for your job, call Total DIY on 01 201 8798.
