Sandtex Fungicidal Wash

Sandtex Fungicidal Wash is a water based ready to use formula for treatment of mould, algal, fungal or lichen growth, on wood or masonry surfaces.

A ready to use fungicide solution for the treatment and prevention of organic growth on exterior undecorated
and all previously decorated surfaces. Can also be used on interior surfaces. Approved under the Control
of Pesticides Regulations 1986 for use as directed.

COATING SYSTEM
Apply one coat as required, however where severe two applications may be necessary

APPLICATION
Always read the label before use and wear suitable protective equipment. Apply liberally
with a nylon bristle brush, or non-atomising spray, scrub into surface, leave to dry. All
signs of organic growth should then be removed with a scraper or stiff, bristle brush, not
wire. Wash surfaces and allow to dry. Heavy long established organic growth is best
removed by pressure washing between 1500-2000 psi (102-136 bar), wet or dry grit
blasting. Care must be taken not to damage the underlying surface. Take care not to
allow residues to run directly into fresh watercourses.

Spreading rate
5 – 10m² per litre depending on porosity of surface. On highly textured or porous surfaces
the spreading rate will be greatly reduced.

Drying time
(under normal drying conditions)
Allow to dry after application, timing can be anything from 20 minutes upwards depending
on temperature and humidity.
