The seaweed content supplies polysaccharides, antioxidants and trace minerals that help plants resist stress from drought, heat, frost and salinity, while the poultry manure delivers the core nutrients for healthy leafy growth. Together they raise soil organic carbon and support the soil microbiology that keeps a garden productive year after year.
These chicken manure pellets suit vegetable beds, flower borders, fruit trees, shrubs, roses and hedging. Apply around 100g per square metre for general flowers and vegetables, 200g per square metre for fast-growing plants, and 300g per square metre for trees, shrubs, roses and hedges. For best results apply from March through to September, working the pellets lightly into the soil surface around the base of plants and watering them in well afterwards.
