Q4 Multipurpose Compost is a top quality compost based on the finest Irish moss peat.
Containing a balanced range of plant foods, nutrients and trace elements, it is a good all-round growing medium.
Q4 Multipurpose Compost:
Contains Q4 fertiliser
Suitable for seed sowing, pricking out and potting on
Ideal for hanging baskets, planters and tubs.
Unlike some composts, Q4 Multipurpose Compost contains a special wetting agent to improve water retention, enabling the peat to soak up water rapidly, even when the compost has dried out.
Not suitable for use with lime-hating plants such as rhododendrons, azaleas and heathers.
Q4 Multipurpose Compost contains enough plant foods for up to six weeks after planting. Continue feeding six weeks onwards at weekly intervals with a liquid feed from Vitax’s Premium Q4 Liquid Feed range or one of its extensive soluble feed products.
